In 2019 we launched our Annual Bodythings Scholarship. In honor of Bodythings’ founder and our mentor, we will be renaming it the ‘Luke Gerard Memorial Scholarship’.
The purpose of this scholarship is to support and encourage passionate dancers in the Calgary Area to continue their dance education. Bodythings will give $500 scholarships to two recipients each year.
The total of the award may be used within the calendar year for any needed dance supplies from Bodythings.
All applications will be reviewed and ten finalists will be chosen based on application answers. Two recipients will be drawn randomly from the finalists.
Entry is open to students of dance in the Calgary Area who fulfill the following requirements:
A minimum of two years dance experience
Between the ages of 10 & 19
Enrolled for classes at a local dance studio. Funds will be contingent upon recipient being registered at a local dance studio.
